Notifying your client / reminders

Once you have asked questions in Keeper, there are two ways to let your clients know they have new questions in their portal: manually and via automated reminders.

By default, all emails will be sent from questions@keeper.app. If you have Whitelabel enabled, these emails will be sent from the practice email that you specify.

Manual emails

The first way to notify your clients is by manually emailing them. To do this, go to their close, click Client Portal, choose Client Emails, and then send an email to your client.

You can also use templates when emailing your client. To customize these templates, click the Email Templates button.

Automated email reminders

You can also enable automed reminders. If this feature is enabled, Keeper will automatically email your client a reminder if they have any unanswered questions in their Client Portal.

To enable automated reminders, go to a client's close, click Client Portal, go to Contacts, and check Enable Reminders.

By default, these reminders will send once weekly at 8 AM ET on Monday. If you want to change the frequency of these reminders, you can do so at the practice level by clicking the Practice Settings Wheel, then choosing Client Portal Settings, and clicking Reminders.

To customize the message that is sent out with these reminders, go back to the Client List page, click Templates, click Emails, and choose the Reminder Email.

Texting your clients

You can text your clients by going to the Client Portal tab in that client's close and clicking the Client Texts tab.

To set up Client Texts, go to your Practice Settings -> Client Portal -> Branding -> Practice Phone Number. There, you can select the phone number you can use to text your clients.

This is a new number

The number you choose for this feature is a new number issued to you through Keeper. It is not your current phone number.

Premium Feature

Texting your clients is only available on Keeper Premium.

Email Blasts

If you want to send an email to all your contacts, you can do this from your All Contacts tab in your Client Portal settings.

From this list, click the Send Email Blast button. Clicking that button will open an email editor that will let you send an email to some or all of your contacts.

For example, If you have a lot of clients, you can use the Intro Email template to easily invite all of your contacts to their new Client Portal.
