While Keeper's bidirectional sync functionality relies upon our QuickBooks Online app, you can still use Keeper as a task manager and Client Portal for your clients that are not on QuickBooks Online.
These clients will still have their own closes, tasks, and Client Portals, and they will still be listed in your dashboard, but you will not be able to run reports, edit transactions, or generate management reports.
To add a non-QBO client, click Add Client -> Add Non-QBO Client.
Non-integrated clients do not count towards your total clients for billing purposes. I.E., you will not be charged for adding non-QBO clients.
Non-QBO clients can be converted to QuickBooks-integrated clients by clicking the Connect to QuickBooks button at the top of the Close page.
This can be helpful especially for onboardings where you want to create a client to manage in Keeper before you have access to their QuickBooks file.
