Metrics is where you can create and track KPIs and performance metrics for your clients. You can think of it like Excel that's directly int

Within Metrics, you can:

- **Create and track custom variables**. These variables will automatically update as you start new closes.
- **Graph variables**: you can graph any variables you create or any accounts on the P\&L / Balance Sheet / Cash Flow Statement.

These graphs can also be embedded into the [Management Reports](docId\:r0HnBNQZUIr6F0mCua21B).

**FYI***: *When creating variable formulas in metrics, make sure to add spaces between the variable names (ProfitLoss.Income) and operators ( + - \* / ).
